The 19th Global Conference on Environmental Taxation (GCET19) took place in Madrid, Spain from 26-28 September 2018. The Green Fiscal Policy Network organised a side-event at the conference on ‘Delivering the Paris Climate Agreement – The role of green fiscal reforms in the transport sector’. This event examined how green fiscal reforms in the transport sector can support countries’ efforts to mitigate GHG emissions and mobilize climate financing to meet their commitments under the Paris Climate Agreement.
